Well, my business is going really well, and I have high hopes about the future! (I can't say the name of the company you will have to ask, otherwise I will get in trouble for illegal advertising, I do have an awesome website though that you need to check out!)
Anyway, back to the Story
Well, twas a beautiful Saturday, not to hot, not to cold, and the sun was shinning! I was very excited because this was the Day that I was going to go to a Bazaar and get some new leads for my business. That's where the tragedy started.
I arrived at the bazaar that was orginally full, but they called and said they squished a table in for me, and boy that is what they meant we were SQUISHED! We entered the site of bazaar only to be directed down these dark musty steps to what looked (and smelled) like a dungeon, (most people know these places as OLD church basements) This big grand event was in a small room with no windows with a grand total of 13 vendors, yes I said 13 I am not supersticious (however you spell that) but it was an extremely tiny amount of people. The day started and we had a few Senior Citizens, the nicest people, but they were EXTREMELY deaf. Our conversations would go like this:
"Oh look kitchen stuff!"
"Hello, how are you doing? Have you heard of the P.C. "(remeber I can't type it)
"What is that deary? Let me turn up my hearing aids!"
"How are you doing on this fine spring day?"
"Just lovely, I was able to get Harry finally out of the house"
I think to myself what does that mean, but I just smile and nod "Have you heard of P.C."
"Oh yes, I have so much junk in my kitchen and my husband is dead and now it is just me, so I don't cook that much anymore, I have some of your stuff but I am afraid that most of it is gathering dust, I really should give it to someone, I better get home and get started - have a nice day"
After a grand total of 20 senior citizens came through, many with hearing issues and leaning heavily on walkers the "Young" crowd arrived (a grand total of 5 people)
"Oh look P.C."
"Hello, how are you? Have you heard of the P.C.?"
"Oh yes I just love your products!"
My hope rises just a tad "So what is your favorite product?"
"The Food Chopper"
"Great! I love that too, would you like some information or would you be interested in hosting a show?" (My hopes are really rising)
"I'm sorry my __________(name your own excuse) already does it"
So after 15$ for the table, and 6 hours sitting in the dungeon, I know have a Mother's Day gift for my Grandma, and a catalog for chocolates! Boy What a day.

A Private Concert For Two
Well, recently I have been given the chance to enjoy house/pet sitting for some friends. It has been nice sitting in a quite house, reading, watching movies, and playing their electric piano. The following story is true, names have been changed to protect the innocent . . .
It was Saturday at about 6:00 p.m. I had just returned for another story that will soon be posted, and decided to stop in and visit the pooches that I am spending some time with. They seemed to need some attention, so we went into the house together. one dog whom I will call Fred immediately went to it's kennel and was fast asleep, the other dog "Bob" followed me around the house. Bob and I went up to the living room, and that is when it all began. . . The against the wall was the . . . dun dun duuuunnn electric piano, and KNOW ONE was around to hear me play! So I turned it on (Which took me a good 15 minutes since I couldn't find the on switch) and started to play, I then noticed all the other fancy buttons and sounds that the machine could do! Sooner then I knew it, Bob and Fred where both spread out on the carpet by my feet as I gave them a concert of a life time! Oh yes, this was NOT your ordinary concert of music written by people WHO ARE DEAD! Nor, was it just your average Mary had a little lamb and chopsticks, I had a chance to play from the heart (and the music book that I brought from home)
Well, Bob and Fred gave me what equates to a standing ovation in their language! They did not leave the room nor did they howl! I can tell that me and my two buddies are going to have an awesome week!

The Turtle and the Frog Part 1
The Fish and the Frog lived across the sea
The had never met it was not meant to be
The Frog was busy trying new lands
And the Fish was happy - her life was just grand
The Frog continued to travel and pray
The Fish was happy at home she stayed.
This continued day and night
Then God asked the fish to go be a light
Would she go? Would she stay?
All she could do was pray.
The journey her choice was about to begin
The had never met it was not meant to be
The Frog was busy trying new lands
And the Fish was happy - her life was just grand
The Frog continued to travel and pray
The Fish was happy at home she stayed.
This continued day and night
Then God asked the fish to go be a light
Would she go? Would she stay?
All she could do was pray.
The journey her choice was about to begin
The Journy Begins - Stop and Pray
Tis been 6 months since I blogged, so we'll see if I keep at it.
The journey begins- "What journey is that Jen? I didn't know you where going anywhere! "

This week has been quite crazy! Some of my students that I work with really had me frazzled. It's sad when you have a principal intervine, teachers try their best, and even phone calls made to parents and yet nothing happens! It gets me sooo fustrated.
This week I was at the end of my rope trying to think of ways to help these students when it hit me, I have been lacks in my prayers for them. So starting Friday when I realized it I started to pray, and everytime I had to intervine with a fight, or rebellion, I simply stopped and prayed before responding. It really made a difference. I had been relying on myself too much and not enough of God. - When is the last time you can say that you truley "prayed without ceasing" for all things? May we all remember that it is "not by might nor by power but by His Spirit saith the Lord!"
The journey begins- "What journey is that Jen? I didn't know you where going anywhere! "
Life is a journy, and this is going to be my diary of what is going on.

Back From Florida
Well, my Mom and I got back from Florida on Wednesday, and I had a Pampered Chef event on Thursday, so I am just getting back to my blog.
Florida was awesome! We enjoyed a steady temp of 90 degrees, and enjoyed going to the pool, a one day cruise, visiting a nature center (Gumbo Limbo) every one should go there!, and of course a trip to one of the million malls down there.
For those of you wondering, I did go to the beach three times. The first time I went to a pavillion smelled the fresh air and left in about 15minutes. The second time I went to the Deerfield Beach pier, walked out to the end gazed at the moon, and took a stroll on the sandy beach with the waves licking my toes all this under a full moon. And the third trip to the beach, I spend maybe 7 minutes there snapping a few pictures to prove I went to the beach, if you can gather by now, I really don't like the beach, the salty water - yick, feeling dirty from the sand - double ick, nope I rather just admire from affar the beauty of the ocean and then go jump in a pool or lake.
I did work on a bit of the Family History book that I want to complete. I recorded stories from my Grandparents that start with them as children up through there honeymoon, (this was about 4 hours of taping) I also had a chance to go through old family photo albumns, listen to my Grandfather read from his journal that starts in 1940, and gather traditional family recipes. Once this gets on paper I will go back for more. It is amazing how much you can learn from your Grandparents. As I get each short story done, I am hoping to post them on the blog. I am also hoping that when a certian friend of mine gets back from her vacation, I can learn how to download the pictures that I took.
Well keep reading there is more to come!
